A First Information Report (FIR) against the outlawed Tehrik-i-Taleban Pakistan (TTP) for attacking Karachi’s international airport was registered on Wednesday, media reported.

The FIR was registered at Karachi’s airport police station under the anti-terrorism act, naming the top brass of the outfit, including its spokesman Shahidullah Shahid, Dawn online reported.

Following the attack, security was beefed up at the airports throughout the country.
